Francetv sport | Voice assistant Olympics 2018

To complete its coverage of the 2018 Olympic Winter Games, France Télévisions has developed a service to allow owners of a smartphone equipped with a Google voice assistant (or compatible connected intelligent speaker) to query Francetv sport in real time on the program, results by discipline, country and athlete, or even the weather in Pyeongchang. The service was developed in collaboration with two start-ups : JNG Conseil (data processing) and Cybronics (voice assistant). Called LiA, it was available during the Olympics and made available in audio format and on request the stream of event data provided by the IOC. It was the opportunity for France Télévisions to test voice technology and users’behavior.
