Trendolizer

 Trendolizer, a tool made by Lead Stories, curates news articles and its software automatically indexes the source code. Since it can work across many different sources, it is able to generate a clear view of trending news topics. Trendolizer did some testcases with VRT NWS together with Ezyinsights.

Because of the exceptional prediction abilities Trendolizer offers, the software is often able to pick up viral stories before they reach the big public. This gives them the necessary time to check whether or not the story is true or false, before it can do any harm.

If a story ends up being false, they will share a screenshot of the article accomplished with “Hoax” of “False” written across it in big red letters. This way any chance of miscommunication is greatly reduced.
