Your Face When

The goal of the project was to try how a Facebook lens can be used in storytelling. When using such a lens the user of application can experience scripted story in his own face and the team wanted to explore what this means in the context of writing a story that is supposed to create emotions in its user.

The project created one minute long story that used ”AR mirror” to manipulate the face of its user and examine how manipulating affected the user, e.g. if your face in the mirror is made to look happy does it make your smile in real life.

The team who carried out the project had staff from Yle Children and Youth department as well as from startup company Deeptale. Yle was responsible for the story while Deeptale provided the required technology.
